As far back as the earliest Native American settlers, people have long considered Sedona, Arizona a highly spiritual and sacred place. Visitors travel from all over to view the breath-taking beauty of the red canyons and mystical rock formations. The buttes and canyons were formed through millions of years of sea level rising and falling, leaving behind mesmerizing sediment lines colored by iron oxides in the rock. With a gorgeous cobalt sky as a backdrop to the rusty red formations, Sedona’s mystique and ethereal spirituality fairly vibrate in the atmosphere.
Sedona Spirit Vessel is inspired by these painterly lines, the smattering of scrubby green growth in the cracks & crevices, and the spiritual grounding and balance inherent to the area. It is meant to hold that which is sacred to you … talismans, mementos, and other collections that speak to your soul.
